"George was married three times. First to lorette Olive Salisbury, bornSeptember 12, 1847, Bookfield, Wisconsin and died May 24, 1881, Salmon,Idaho. They were married February 24,1865, Warsaw, Minnesota. Georgewas married a second time to Melissa Bryan at Salmon, Idaho, and a thirdtime to Mabel McLain Smith at Minneapolis, Minn. Both the lattermarriages ended in divorce."
"When the Civil War broke out George enlisted on April 29, 1861, in theMinnesota Volunteer Infantry at Ft. Snelling, Minn. He was in Co. G 1stReg. Minn.
