"Ralph was one of the brothers who accompanied Seth, Olive and George toMinnesota to establish a new home for the Kenneys at Horse Shoe Lake.When the Civil War started, Ralph enlisted in the 1st Minnesota MountedCo. H." "In 1875, they left for California by emigrant train and livedfor five years in Ventura County, California and then joined a wagontrain bound for Oregon. They went on to Walla Walla, Washington arrivingthere on July 7, 1880. In the fall of 1880 he purchased land at PilotRock. Oregon where the family resided for some time. His youngestdaughter, Calla, was born there." "They moved to Salmon, Idaho whereRalph died.
