"Olav built by a man estate owner ELKIAER in 1773 for what he paid 2 pdbutter, 1/3 barrel salt. He also like his father was a tradesman -commerced and he was also called 'Kjopmans-Olav'. He took good care ofthe farm. When he left the life there was 203 rdl left. The houses hehad were very fine and he built new ones for himself and he seemed tohave been ambitious man.
