Karen married George Buchinoff in Sausalito, California. Dick and Ihosted the groom's dinner at our home in Tiburon. Karen's parents, AuntJosephine, Mary Jeanette and others attended. They were married in achurch in Sausalito the next day and the reception was held at the AltaMira Hotel. They lived in Seattle and were divorced when Dimitri wasseveral months old. Karen and Dimitri left the country and went toNorway.
I contacted Karen and met her in Stavanger, Norway in June of 1996.She had married David Bruns and they lived a short distance from mycousin Erna Bjarnevik in Stavanger. We had a wonderful visit with themand were able to visit their lovely home.
Dimitri is married to Torunn and they have four children. Kirstencompleted medical school in Budapest in June, 2004.
I look forward to letters from Karen and David each Christmas season.
Karen's sister Sally passed away in 2002. Sally's daughter Sara andher husband Chuck visited David and Karen at Christmas 2004.
