Obituary: A resident of Sioux City for the last 50 years, Mrs. MargaretM. Colwell, 89, 2502 W. 14th Street, died in a hospital here Saturdayafternoon following an illness of two weeks. Funeral services will beheld at 10 o'clock Monday morning at Christy's funeral home at 711 MyrtleStreet. Rev. Willis Smith of Assembly of God church will officiate andburial will be in Graceland Park cemetery. Mrs. Colwell was born October25, 1850 in Boone county, Iowa and married to William M. Colwell there in1872. He died in 1935. Mrs. Colwell was a member of MayflowerCongregational church. Surviving are a son, Robert of Sioux City; sixdaughters, Mrs. G. A. Comstock of Sioux City, Mrs. W. W. Throckmorton ofMinneapolis, Mrs. William Richards of Colton, CA, Mrs. Charles E. Wilcoxof Sioux City; two half sisters, Mrs. Hattie Hudson and Mrs. MarthaWilbert, both of Valentine, NE; 22 grandchildren and ninegreat-grandchildren.
