Marie Stoumbis

Marie was a busy homemaker. She loved roses and had manyin her garden. She had the difficult job of raising three children when Dennis' job took him out of town for most of the week. Sheloved to shop in thrift shops and especially the Hospice Thrift Shop. Her favorite past time was to play Bingo or the machines atReno after the children were grown.
Marie and Dennis enjoyed living in their "Mountain Home" inNevada City after retirement. Their property is in mining territory and has wonderful views of the Malokoff diggings and canyons.
Dennis and Marie were married for 50 years. Theycelebrated their anniversary with a cruise to Alaska.
After Dennis' death, Marie moved to San Jose to live withVickie and Chris. She had a small cottage on their property.
Marie had difficulty walking for several years as a resultof two hip replacement surgeries and problems with her legs.
