Gale Leigh Tangen

Gale's parents were Gilman Tangen and Millie Hanson. He attended schoolsin Northwood, ND.
He was a 1st Lt. in the U. S. Army and was stationed in Hawaii. Galegraduated from the University of North Dakota and taught in Halstad, Mn.where he met June.
Gale taught Math at East Grand Forks, MN High School until hisretirement. He was awarded TEACHER OF THE YEAR.
He is an active church member at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, E.G.F. andwas also an active member of the Lions Club.
Gale's and June's home was severely damaged in the April 1997 flood. Theentire basement was flooded and many precious memories were lost.
While in Arizona, for the winter of 1998, they purchased a home not farfrom Wes and Lennie. It is a beautiful home and it is hoped they willspend many happy months there.

Hobbies: Toy Collector (mechanical toys - antique toys), travel, summercabin at Pine Lake, boating.
Gale suffered a massive heart attack on July 15th, 2004 He did not regainconsciousness and died on July 17th, 2004 at Altru Hospital.
