Marian Lucille Throckmorton

Marian was born blind, able to see bright colors and shapes asshadows. Her mother told me that a tree branch had fallen on her whileshe was pregnant with Marian and that it caused Marian's blindness. Shetrained Marian in homemaking and they were best of friends. Marian lovedbeing a mother and homemaker. She was a very neat and clean person. Itwas surprising to watch her iron starched shirts, cook and bake - hersense of touch was excellent. She loved to sing and had a beautifulsoprano voice. She also loved to dance and enjoyed entertaining guests.Marian enjoyed the soap operas on the radio and rarely missed a program.When Television arrived she enjoyed the soap operas even more. She madetaffee for us many times with great ease. We all loved to have her visitus. Barbara was their guide when they traveled. Marian and Barbara werevery close and lived near each other until Marian married Numie and movedto St. Paul. Barbara continued to help them with shopping and errands,etc.
Marian Lucille Kenney was married to Good Hume Ezchus on March 4, 1966at Salem English Lutheran Church, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Rev. PaulLuther Wetzler performed the ceremony. Witnesses were Madelyn L. Wilcoxand T. D. Eachus.
Marian and Good Hume [Numie] lived at 1170 Arkwright, St. Paul, Minnesotain Numie's home. Marian died of a massive stroke at home while speakingon the telephone to her daughter Barbara Marsyla. Numie continued tolive in his home until his death, date is unknown.
