Britney Meland advanced to a final round of the spelling bee in her region.  She was the top speller in her school and advanced to a regional tournament.  She made it to the second round but lost out to some very older students.  We’re proud of her  Way to go Britney!

He named the drawing “Camile”.  It is a drawing of a cameleon lizard.  He did the drawing at an art class this past spring. He won a blue ribbon for first prize and a purple ribbon for grand champion. His drawing is eligible for next years state fair which he plans on entering.
