Susan & Paul – Music at Church
Paul was asked to play something for “special music” as they call it for church. Susan agreed to accompany him on piano. Paul arranged the music. They played for both services at our church in Alexandria, MN. Sunday, September 2, 2012.
Jeff Susan Paul Meland Medora 2012
Driving along the South Unit at TR State Park near Medora ND we came upon a large herd of Bison (not Buffalo). They blocked the road and circled around our car. They were very close to the car and staring while making grunting noises. Scary! This was on about August 25, 2012.

Paul is on the far right. This was August 11, 2012 in Duluth MN. It is the 2012-2013 MN All State Jazz Ensemble. They will also perform at a concert in MPLS in February 2013.
Jazz Workshop Paul Meland July 2012
This was in Louisville, KY in July of 2012. Paul attended a jazz workshop (the Jamey Aebersold Jazz Workshop) from July 8-13. They kept him very busy and he learned a lot.
