A friend who visited Norway last summer (2007) saw this mailbox on the fyksesund, just off the Hardanger fjord about 100 km east of Bergen near Oystese. Could this be a relative of the Melands?

SS NeverSail launches at Golden Lake
Paul and Grandpa Reuben took the modified raft out for a test run. Equiped with a battery powered motor it cruises without oars. The next cruise is set for the Alexandria chain of lakes.
