His father James Throckmorton, Ottowo, Ill. built railroads for 50years. His mother was Alma Adella Bradfield of Mapleton, Iowa.
Wallace was a stockman in Sioux City Iowa. Some time before 1918 hemoved to St. Paul,Mn. Their home in St. Paul was hit by a car andseverely damaged. They lost many possessions - especially pictures oftheir family. Wallace was known as a gambler who had lost a lot ofmoney. Perhaps it happened at the time of the market crash?? Em workedfor several wealthy families through the years.
